Plot and Setting

In the future, ever-growing digital technologies have radically affected every aspect of our lives. Computers and computer-based systems have been deeply integrated into society and continue to spread their influence.

Indeed, digital technologies open up great opportunities for us, such as cost efficiency, global scalability, and many others that help enrich our lives. However, in order to take advantage of all these benefits, security awareness and cybersecurity skills have become more important than ever.

Businesses are also concerned about cybersecurity. Therefore, more and more companies are not only improving their technical tools, but also conducting informational training for employees. Unfortunately, such training often turns out to be just a formality, with employees tending to forget information and not apply acquired skills.

So how do you make employees interested in cybersecurity? How do you motivate them to change their behavior and use the skills they have gained during training?

The best way to find out how to act in a certain situation is to learn from experience. However, in the case of cybersecurity, the cost of learning from your own mistakes is too high. In such cases, simulations or game-based techniques come to the rescue. With the help of gamified training, you can “encounter” various situations and face the consequences as if they actually happened, without harming yourself or the company.
