Searching for an object on the graph

The graph in the Resources → Clusters section can be searched by namespace and pod.

To search for objects on the graph:

  1. In the Resources → Clusters section, in the table of clusters, click the cluster name.

    This opens a list of namespaces in this cluster.

  2. Open the Graph tab.
  3. In the search field above the graph, enter part of the name of the object you are interested in (for example, kube).
  4. Press Enter.

Search results are displayed in the following tabs: Namespaces, Pods and containers, and Graph. Each tab displays the number of matching objects. Opening the Namespaces or Pods and containers tab takes you to the search for objects in the cluster. The Graph tab is selected by default, and the matching objects are marked on the graph.

The graph displays only those namespaces whose names or pods match the search criteria. The first matching namespace is displayed expanded with all pods and objects inside pods included. The rest of the matching namespaces stay collapsed on the graph.

Within namespaces, only applications containing pods whose names match the search criteria are displayed. These applications can be expanded and all objects inside them can be viewed.

Names of namespaces and pods that match the search criteria are highlighted in color.

The graph icons indicate the number of matching objects as follows:
