Use Password AutoFill for Kaspersky Password Manager
If you enable Password AutoFill, you can automatically enter credentials saved in Kaspersky Password Manager into login and password fields in Safari and other applications. For more information about Password AutoFill, refer to the Apple documentation.
For your privacy and safety, the data in Kaspersky Password Manager is processed locally and not sent outside your device.
Note: Password AutoFill is available only in applications that support this feature.
On macOS 15:
- In the menu bar, click the application icon and choose Settings.
The application settings window opens.
- On the AutoFill tab, click Open AutoFill & Passwords Settings.
- In the AutoFill from section, enable Kaspersky Password Manager.
On macOS 13 and 14:
- In the menu bar, click the application icon and choose Settings.
The application settings window opens.
- On the AutoFill tab, click Open Extensions Settings.
- In the Extensions window, click Password AutoFill.
- Enable Kaspersky Password Manager and click Done.
On macOS 15:
- Open System Settings.
- Choose General > AutoFill & Passwords.
- In the AutoFill from section, disable Kaspersky Password Manager.
On macOS 13 and 14:
- Open System Settings.
- Choose Privacy & Security > Extensions and click Password AutoFill.
- Disable Kaspersky Password Manager and click Done.
Sign in with Password AutoFill
When you visit a website or open an application, Password AutoFill searches for accounts that you have saved for this website or application in Kaspersky Password Manager. Based on the search results and your current settings, Kaspersky Password Manager does one of the following:
- If there is one matching account, Kaspersky Password Manager fills in the login and password.
- If there are multiple matching accounts, Kaspersky Password Manager prompts you to choose the account that you want to sign in with. You can also see all your accounts for the website or application by choosing Other passwords for <website/application> in the pull-down menu.
Note: If your device supports Touch ID, you can also use it to sign in.
Additionally, you can open the AutoFill window by choosing Kaspersky Password Manager in the pull-down menu. The AutoFill window contains the following tabs:
- Suggested. Use this tab to view the list of logins suggested by Kaspersky Password Manager to sign in to this website or application. Click Fill In next to the login to use it to sign in.
- Favorites. Use this tab to view the list of accounts added to Favorites. Click
next to the account name and select the login to use to sign in.
- All Categories. Use this tab to view accounts of a certain category: Websites, Applications or Other. Choose Recent to view recently used accounts. Click
next to the account name and select the login to use to sign in.
You can start typing the account name in the Search field. As you type, the results that match your search criteria are displayed.
