Uninstall the application
You can uninstall Kaspersky Password Manager and delete all its data from your computer or uninstall the application but save some of the data. You can use the saved data if you install Kaspersky Password Manager again.
Uninstall Kaspersky Password Manager from your computer
- Close all browsers.
- Open the Control Panel in one of the following ways:
- If you use Windows 7, click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
- If you use Windows 8/Windows 8.1, press the Win + I shortcut and select Control Panel.
- If you use Windows 10, press the Win + X shortcut and select Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, select Programs and Features.
- In the list of applications, select Kaspersky Password Manager and click Uninstall/Change.
The Save data window opens.
- Select the data that you want to keep on your computer.
- Click Next.
Uninstallation of Kaspersky Password Manager starts.
- Wait for the uninstallation of Kaspersky Password Manager to complete.
- Click Finish to quit the uninstaller.
Kaspersky Password Manager is now successfully uninstalled from your computer. Kaspersky Password Manager extensions for Google Chrome, chromium-based browsers, Mozilla Firefox, and Yandex.Browser must be deleted manually. After deleting Kaspersky Password Manager extensions, you can turn on your browsers' built-in password managers.
Uninstall Kaspersky Password Manager from the Command Prompt
- Start the Command Prompt as an Administrator
- Enter
msiexec.exe /I{11017E8F-9A83-47E2-8C6E-316A34AD4F07} REMOVE=ALL SAVE_PRODUCT_LOGS=1
The parameters have the following meanings:
REMOVE=ALL
- start the uninstallation.SAVE_PRODUCT_LOGS=1
copy trace files to a temp folder before uninstallation of the app.
- Wait for the uninstallation of Kaspersky Password Manager to complete.
