Access to tenants is regulated in the settings of users. The general administrator has access to the data of all tenants. Only a user with this role can create and delete tenants.
Tenants are displayed in the table in the Settings → Access → Tenants section of the KUMA web interface. You can sort the table by clicking on columns.
Available columns:
Name is the name of the tenant. The table can be filtered by this column.
EPS limit is the EPS (events per second) quota allocated to the tenant out of the overall EPS quota determined by the license.
Description is the description of the tenant.
Createdis the tenant creation date.
Updated is the date and time when the tenant information was most recently modified.
To create a tenant:
In the KUMA web interface, in the Settings → Access → Tenants, click Add.
The Add tenant window opens.
Specify the tenant name in the Name field. The name must contain 1 to 128 Unicode characters.
In the EPS limit field, specify the EPS quota for the tenant. This field is optional. The sum total of EPS quotas for all tenants must not exceed the EPS available under the license. However, KUMA does not check the values entered in this field.
If necessary, add a Description of the tenant. The description can contain no more than 256 Unicode characters.
Click Create.
The tenant is added. Press F5 to refresh the page. After refreshing the page, the created tenant is displayed in the web interface.
To delete a tenant:
In the Settings → Access → Tenants section of the KUMA web interface, select the relevant tenant by selecting the check box next to it, then in the toolbar, select Delete.
This opens the Delete tenant window, which displays information about the tenant and prompts you to enter a code and confirm the deletion of the tenant. If you want to proceed with deleting the tenant, enter the code.
Click OK.
The tenant is deleted.
When you delete a tenant, the following happens:
Services belonging to the tenant, with the exception of agents, are automatically stopped. In the section Resources → Active services, such services are displayed with a gray status.
Reception and processing of events is terminated, and previously received events are deleted.
All tenant resources are deleted.
User accounts that have access only to the remote tenant are disabled—active sessions are terminated, and an error message is displayed when attempting to log in again.
In the Settings → Access → Domain authorization section, under Administration groups, the role filters created for this tenant are deleted.
Agent services are not stopped automatically. If necessary, you can stop the Windows agent services manually in the Start → Services section; to stop the Linux agent services, you can press Ctrl+C in the terminal in which the agent was started.
