Starting scans on your device
Starting scans on your device
Although Automatic Anti-Virus provides automatic 24/7 device protection, you can always manually run a specific type of scan on your device.
A quick scan can be used to scan only installed apps.
To run a quick scan,
On the Kaspersky app main screen, tap Scan Device > Quick scan.
Kaspersky recommends you run a full scan of your device at least once a week to ensure your personal data is safe.
To run a full scan,
On the Kaspersky app main screen, tap Scan Device > Full scan.
How to start a scan of files and folders?
You can scan a file or folder on the device's internal memory or a memory card.
To scan a folder or file:
- On the Kaspersky app main screen, tap Scan Device > Selective scan.
- Select a folder or file to scan.
- Tap
to start the scan.
