What's new in the latest version of the application

The latest version of the application introduces the following new features and improvements:

• Improved user interface for backup functionality.
• For the Webcam and Mic Control function, you can now configure a list of trusted applications so you don't get interrupted by unnecessary notifications.
• Added the option to sign in to My Kaspersky using VK and Yandex.
• Kaspersky VPN functionality is not available in India.

• The Kaspersky Protection extension is now available for the Microsoft Edge browser in the Chrome Web Store.
• In some cases, users will be asked to provide payment details during the subscription activation to enable automatic renewal and get a discount on the next subscription period.
• The application now uses NTFS compression to reduce the size of trace files.
• Implemented a new splash screen.
• It is now possible to customize the set of features on the sell screen depending on the region.
• In the Security section of Kaspersky Free, all components that are available only in paid versions are shown in a deactivated state.
• In the Kaspersky Protection extension, installed together with Kaspersky Free, we have added promotional messages containing information about paid features of Kaspersky application, such as: Private Browsing, Anti-Banner, and Safe Money.
• Improved logic for displaying recommendations in the main application window; added category names and animation effects on the recommendation cards.
• Added a new web category - Phishing IP.
