Running Kaspersky Password Manager

Kaspersky Password Manager is designed to safely store and synchronize passwords across your devices. Kaspersky Password Manager has to be installed independently of Kaspersky.

After installation, you can start Kaspersky Password Manager from the Start menu (in Microsoft Windows 7 or Microsoft Windows 10), from the Start screen (in Microsoft Windows 8 or Microsoft Windows 8.1), or from the Kaspersky window.

How to start Kaspersky Password Manager from the Kaspersky window

To run Kaspersky Password Manager if it is already installed:

  1. Open the main application window of Kaspersky.
  2. Go to the Privacy section.
  3. Under Password Manager, click Run.

The Kaspersky Password Manager window opens.

How to download and install Kaspersky Password Manager

To download and install Kaspersky Password Manager to protect your passwords,

  1. Open the main application window of Kaspersky.
  2. Go to the Privacy section.
  3. Under Password Manager, click Download.

The installation package of Kaspersky Password Manager is downloaded to your computer. To install Kaspersky Password Manager, follow the standard procedure for installing applications to your computer.

The Kaspersky Password Manager application is not part of Kaspersky Basic and Kaspersky Standard plans. If you want to use the Kaspersky Password Manager application for password protection, you can download and install it as a separate application or switch to Kaspersky Plus.
