Buying and activating a subscription for Kaspersky app
To use Kaspersky app, your device must be connected to a My Kaspersky account, a single account for remotely managing protection of your devices.
Buy subscription
You can buy a subscription from a service provider or in the app.
Activate subscription
If you already have a subscription, you can activate it in one of the following ways:
- Use a subscription detected for your My Kaspersky account. You must connect the app to My Kaspersky to use this option.
- Enter an activation code received from your service provider or when you bought the subscription. You can do it on My Kaspersky, please follow the instructions there.
If you lose or accidentally delete your activation code after activating the app, contact Kaspersky Technical Support.
Free trial
You also have the option to use Kaspersky app on a free trial basis for a short trial period. This free trial is granted only once. When the trial period expires, the App Store will automatically charge you according to the subscription you chose.
If you cancel your subscription during the trial period, you can use the paid app's features for free until the end of the trial period.
Page topManaging subscriptions
A subscription is the purchase of the right to use the application according to specific parameters (for example, subscription expiration date, number of devices).
You can manage your subscription (for example, buy, suspend, or resume) via your personal account page on the service provider's website (for example, via your Apple account). Follow the instructions on the App Store.
About auto-renewal
A subscription can be renewed automatically or manually. An auto-renewed subscription renews automatically at the end of each subscription period until you cancel it. A manually renewed subscription must be renewed at the end of each subscription period.
If you do not turn on auto-renewal or for some reason the app was unable to auto-renew your subscription (your credit card has expired or was declined), when your subscription expires, the app will switch to the limited version. To continue using the app under the subscription, you will need to manually renew your subscription on the Kaspersky website or via your provider.
Ordering a subscription for Kaspersky app will not cancel your other subscriptions that include Kaspersky app. To avoid additional charges, make sure you have canceled or disabled autorenewal for subscriptions that you don't need.
About cancelling a subscription
To cancel a subscription or switch to manual renewal:
- Go to your personal account page on the service provider's website.
- Check if there are any active subscriptions that include the app for which you are buying a subscription.
Cancel or disable auto-renewal for subscriptions that you don’t need.
You can only buy one subscription for Kaspersky app per Apple ID. To switch your subscription to another My Kaspersky account, submit a request to technical support via My Kaspersky, and include a detailed description of the issue.
If you have an active subscription for Kaspersky VPN, you can use it in the stand-alone app Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection.
When you subscribe to the Premium version, you may be offered a reduced price for some time. This discount may be granted only once and only applies to the specified period. After this period ends, you will be charged the normal subscription fee for the package you have chosen.
If you subscribe to Plus and Premium plans of Kaspersky app, you can use the Kaspersky VPN functionality. Kaspersky VPN is also available in the trial version of Kaspersky app Plus.
