Configuring the Administration Server connection address
Configuring the Administration Server connection address
The Administration Server connection address is the network address used for the following purposes:
- As a default address when creating the Network Agent installation packages
After the installation of the Network Agent, managed devices connect to the Administration Server at this address.
- As the KSN proxy server address
Managed devices connect to the KSN proxy server via this address.
To configure the Administration Server connection address:
- In the main menu, click the settings icon (
) next to the name of the required Administration Server.The Administration Server properties window opens.
- On the General tab, select the General section.
- In the window that opens, in the Administration Server connection address field, specify the new Administration Server connection address.
The maximum length of the connection address is 255 characters.
You can specify the Administration Server connection address as the NetBIOS name, FQDN, or the IP address of the Administration Server.
- Click the Save button.
The specified address is used as the Administration Server address and the KSN proxy server address.
