Report templates are available in the Templates tab of the Reports section, where the table of existing templates is displayed. The table contains the following information:
Name is the name of the report template.
You can sort report templates by clicking the sort icon in the column header and selecting Ascending or Descending.
You can also search for report templates by name using the Search field above the table.
Regular expressions are used when searching for report templates.
Tenant—the name of the tenant that owns the report template.
Updated is the date and time of the last update of a resource template.
You can sort the table by this column by clicking the sort icon in the column header and selecting Ascending or Descending.
Created by—the name of the user who created the report template.
Description is optional information about the report template.
Tags to help find the report template. You can search for report templates by clicking the sort icon in the column header, by specifying a value to search for in the Search field, or by selecting tags using check boxes.
Schedule—the rate at which reports must be generated using the template. If the report schedule was not configured, the disabled value is displayed.
Last report—the date and time when the last report was generated based on the report template.
Package name is the name of the package of tools for processing events.
Send by email indicates that email notification is configured for generated reports.
If necessary, you can customize the columns by clicking the gear icon.
After selecting a report template in the list, you can click the menu icon to open a drop-down list of available actions:
Show dependencies opens the dependency graph window for the selected report template. If necessary, in the graph window, you can download dependency data in SVG format and configure filters to be applied to dependencies displayed on the graph.
View versions history displays the version history of a report template. If necessary, in the sidebar, you can compare the versions and restore a previous version.
Run report generates a report. The generated reports are displayed on the Generated reports tab.
Show all generated reports displays a list of all reports generated for the selected report template. If necessary, you can save the selected report in one of the supported formats or delete the report.
Edit schedule lets you configure the reporting schedule and select users that you want to receive email notifications about generated reports.
You can also view the list of report templates available to you in the Resources → List section. To do this, select Report template in the Resource kind column.
